I recently added 6 x Rhomboocellatus Barb and 6 x Black Phantom Tetra to my tank of 6 x Zebra Danios.

I noticed on Monday evening the new fish had white ’salt like’ spots on them.  Yesterday I was at Silverstone but I did manage to purchase a bottle of King British WS3 treatment on the way back home.  By the time I arrived home (midnight), the Barbs & Tetras had died.

I have removed the dead fish and carried out a large water change.  I’ve added a dose of King British WS3 treatment and will continue the medication for another 10 days.

The orginal Danios are all swimming about quite happily. Water conditions have remained at zero ammonia and zero nitrite and the temp is currently 27c.

Further to my earlier post about my brother’s birthday pressie, the trip to Silverstone went ahead yesterday.

I was only a spectator, along with mum, dad, sister and sister’s partner.  The Ferraris went around the South Circuit, down Hangar Straight and through Stowe Corner, Vale, Club Corner, Abbey Curve, Ireland, Becketts Corner and Chapel Curve three times.

The weather was lovely and sunny and a good time was had by all.  I’ll post some photos to the photo albums section of the site soon.

I spent the day in MK today with J as it was his 50th birthday.  Had a nice meal at the Old Green Man - Country Pub & Restaurant in Little Brickhill.

I contributed to the cost of a family pressie for him to have 3 laps of the Silverstone race circuit in a Ferrari.  Looks like it’s gonna be a date in September and I’m looking forward to being a spectator.

Went down to Trax Car Show at Silverstone today to exhibit my Ibiza on the Seat Car Club stand.

Oooh my head hurts.  It must have been a good night last night as I can’t remember much of it!

A few of us went out to the pub last night straight from work with Charles as he’s off abroad on a career break.  By the time we’d got to Saxty’s nightclub I had drunk one too many Vodkas.  Will has some incriminatory video evidence of this on his phone and has great pleasure in showing it to just about everyone he comes across - thanks mate.

I’m off to Trax at Silverstone tomorrow with the SEAT Car Club.  I’ve got to be at the meeting point in Towcester by 7am so I’ll be leaving home around 4:30am.
