Last night it was the works Christmas party.  We’ve been to the Three Counties Hotel the last couple of years, but this year Frosty organised for us to go to the newly refurbished Saxtys Restaurant.  After that we went to the Booth for a few drinks and the on to Play nightclub.  There are some good photos on colleagues’ Facebook profiles.

I had a really good night and I’m glad I arranged today off work!

Well, as the title of this post says really.  Went out last night with a few work colleagues and had a good time - saw the new year in with a glass of champagne and got back home at 03:30.  Got the day off work today though which is good - now, where did I put that box of paracetamol capsules?…

On Saturday I decided it would be a good idea if I invited a couple of work colleagues for some drinks and a bite to eat after work the following day.  At close of business on Sunday afternoon, ‘a couple’ ended up being eight of us and we shot off to the nearest pub for a drink, and then on to another pub for food and more drink.

Harry then suggested we all go back to his place for a house warming party coz he hadn’t had one since he moved in.  The non-drinkers then kindly acted as free taxis so we could all get changed and of course we stopped off at Bargain Booze on the way for supplies.

We all had a good evening and vowed to do something similar again soon.

Oooh my head hurts.  It must have been a good night last night as I can’t remember much of it!

A few of us went out to the pub last night straight from work with Charles as he’s off abroad on a career break.  By the time we’d got to Saxty’s nightclub I had drunk one too many Vodkas.  Will has some incriminatory video evidence of this on his phone and has great pleasure in showing it to just about everyone he comes across - thanks mate.

I’m off to Trax at Silverstone tomorrow with the SEAT Car Club.  I’ve got to be at the meeting point in Towcester by 7am so I’ll be leaving home around 4:30am.
