After an unexpected delay in supply, I finally got to pick up my new wheels & tyres this morning.  Dug my trolley jack and torque wrench out from the dark recesses of the garage this afternoon and got the old steel wheels off and the alloys on.

I think they make a big improvement to the car’s looks, and despite the lower profile tyres the ride comfort is still good.  I’ll add some photos to the album here once I get time off work on a day when the sun actually shines.

Ordered a set of 17″ Dezent N alloy wheels with 205/40R17 tyres and some locking wheel nuts today for my Ibiza.  Unfortunately they are going to take two to three weeks to be delivered.
